Afterglow Recycled Ink Logos - A World First!

 

All of Afterglow’s heat transfer logos are made using 100% recycled ink, utilising a market-leading technique to create heat transfer logos by using leftover ink waste from our supplier’s ink factory.

 
This not only means zero waste, but that every single logo and Afterglow garment is totally unique, as each logo is individually painted onto each garment.

Stone Paper Swing Tags

 

 

 


 

Our swing tags are created from paper pulp pressed from ground stone and are also made by the same supplier. Their revolutionary stone papermaking technology enables the production of paper, without the need to fell trees, pollute water or release harmful gases.

 By replacing one ton of wood pulp paper with one ton of stone paper, we can save 20 trees, 28,312 litres of water and reduce CO2 output by up to 900kg.



  



Wash Care Labels

 

All of Afterglow’s wash care labels are made using 100% recycled woven yarn made from post-consumer plastic chips, obtained from PET plastic bottles, among other sources. These create considerable savings on plastic rubbish in landfills, and reduce the demand for oil-refined polyester, saving water and energy.

 

 

 
Our wash care and swing tag supplier is a Global Recycled Standard (GRS) Certified manufacturing company, a global benchmark that verifies the recycled content of their products (both finished and intermediate) and verifies responsible social, environmental and chemical practices in their production.


By creating sustainable products and services for the textile industry, our supplier – and Afterglow – are committed to reducing the clothing industry’s environmental impact.



Logo Label Tabs

  

 

Afterglow’s logo label tabs are 100% made from polyester yarn, sourced from recycled PET bottles. The labels are manufactured in accordance with the Standard 100 set by global environmental benchmark Oeko-Tex.
